Teddy’s Men of Courage

“I want, as game protectors, men of courage, resolution and hardihood who can handle the rifle, axe and paddle; who can camp out in summer or winter; who can go on snowshoes, if necessary; who can go through the woods by day or by night without regard to trails.” NY Governor Teddy Roosevelt 1899

Conservation Officer’s Cookbook

Our cookbook is a compilation of great recipes from all over New York State. The contributors include many of our own officers who are well known for their culinary artistry, officers’ spouses equally famous, if not more-so, for their delicious dishes, and many of our friends who enjoy creating edible specialties. Included in the cookbook are many additional tidbits of information, poems, original artwork, stories and tips that make the book fun to read. Visit the Table of Contents and you will find links to some of the recipes in the book. We will be adding links to more of the recipes, so check back regularly.
