Old South Peach BBQ Sauce

  • 2 c. tomato puree

  • 1/2 c. peach preserves

  • 1/2 c. dijon mustard

  • 1/2 c. southern comfort

  • 1/2 c. lemon juice

  • 1/4 c. brown sugar

  • 2 tbsp. tabasco sauce

  • 1 tsp. salt

Combine all ingredients in a heavy medium saucepan; bring to a boil, stirring frequently. Reduce heat, cover partially and simmer for twenty minutes.

Makes four cups.
