Catskill Mountain Pot Roast


  • 2 to 4 lb. top round or top sirloin of venison

  • 1 can of cream of mushroom soup

  • 5 oz. of A-1 steak sauce

  • 1 pkg of Lipton onion soup mix

  • 2 cloves of fresh crushed garlic

Place meat in a crock pot and put all other ingredients on top. Set pot on low temperature. Let cook for 6 to 8 hours, stirring every couple of hours. Gravy from this recipe is excellent over rice or mashed potatoes.
